Job summary

Grove Technical Resources in Irvine, CA is seeking a Sr Manufacturing Engineer for medical devices to lead process optimization, cost initiatives and compliance within a regulated manufacturing environment.

You will design and improve manufacturing processes and layouts, support equipment installation and qualification, drive SPC-aligned improvements, and collaborate with Product Development, Engineering, Manufacturing and external vendors.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in medical device manufacturing.
• Strong equipment/process validation experience.
• Demonstrated project leadership experience.
• Lean / Six Sigma knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing process optimization, improvement, and cost initiatives.
• Design and improve manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts.
• Support equipment installation, qualification, tooling, fixtures, and process development.
• Provide technical and sustaining engineering support to manufacturing operations.
• Identify and implement process/equipment modifications to improve quality, efficiency, and production yields.
• Develop processes aligned with SPC requirements.
• Investigate equipment, machinery, and process issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with applicable regulations and quality standards.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Engineering, Manufacturing, and external vendors.
• Lead projects by managing timelines, resources, budgets, and deliverables.
