Job summary

Primary Talent Partners has a 1year contract opening for a Packaging Engineer to join a multinational medical device company for an onsite position operating out of Lafayette, CO.

The Packaging Engineer II will create and innovate packaging for new products and lead their implementation across multiple manufacturing facilities, including cost reductions, procurement of new packaging machinery, and packaging documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and at least 3 years of relevant experience (Level II).
• Packaging engineering experience in medical devices or manufacturing.
• Familiarity with packaging validation, documentation, and change controls.

Responsibilities

• Identify and lead cost reduction opportunities (>$100K) in packaging.
• Provide technical support and training on packaging systems and machinery.
• Prepare packaging validation protocols and reports for packaging changes.
