Job summary

Invio Automation is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to design and manage custom machinery for markets including medical device, life sciences, and heavy industry.

You will drive projects from concept to installation, collaborate with controls and production teams, and ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence. A four-year mechanical engineering degree is required, with strong SolidWorks and MS Project skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant design and project experience.
• SolidWorks proficiency (minimum 3 years).
• Experience with Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
• Experience collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects from concept through installation and delivery.
• Create detailed design concepts and system layouts; model nests and stations in SolidWorks.
• Prepare design approval documents and BOMs; ensure ISO product realization sheets.
• Develop project schedules with Microsoft Project and track progress.
• Liaise with customers, procurement, and production to meet scope, costs, and timing.
