Medvacon Life Sciences, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to contribute to the development of medical devices and electromechanical/electro-pneumatic products. You will translate customer requirements into designs, create prototypes, and support manufacturing processes through design verification and product development from concept to validation.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with SolidWorks, 3D CAD, DFMA, and cross-functional collaboration, along with knowledge of GMP and ISO

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Mechanical preferred.
• 2–4 years of engineering experience or Master's with <1 year.
• Experience with SolidWorks or other solid-modeling CAD.
• Background in medical device/equipment development, electromechanical/electro-pneumatic systems.

Responsabilités

• Translate customer specifications into mechanical design requirements.
• Create 3D CAD models, drawings, and tolerances using SolidWorks or similar tools.
• Perform engineering analysis to support design decisions.
• Develop and evaluate prototypes, tooling, equipment, and processes.
• Troubleshoot design, fabrication, and processing issues.
• Develop test methods, fixtures, and verification protocols.
• Analyze test data and recommend product improvements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers on fabrication, inspection, testing.
• Contribute to project planning; execute assignments independently; support scheduling.
• Train technicians and operators on new processes and production techniques.
