Job summary

MEDVACON LIFE SCIENCES, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II for on-site duties in New Jersey. You will interpret customer specifications to define mechanical design requirements, develop prototypes, and troubleshoot design and processing issues.

Responsibilities include creating 3D CAD designs, precision drawings, tolerance analysis, and developing verification protocols. Collaboration with internal and external teams and training technicians are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of related mechanical engineering experience or an MS with limited experience.
• Experience with design for manufacturability and assembly.
• Knowledge of plastics, metal components, and machining processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer specifications to define mechanical design requirements.
• Perform first-principles analysis on mechanical designs.
• Create 3D CAD designs and drawings; develop fabrication/assembly drawings.
• Perform tolerance analysis and prototype evaluation.
• Troubleshoot design and processing issues; generate technical reports.
• Develop design verification protocols and test methods.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams for fabrication, testing, and inspection.
• Train technicians on new processes; contribute to project planning.
