Job summary

Coagusense Inc. in Fremont, CA is seeking an electromechanical technician to support daily production equipment maintenance and reliability improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will troubleshoot and perform PMs, assist engineers on process issues, and manage spare parts to keep lines running smoothly. The role requires following QSR and SOPs, collaborating with Manufacturing Operations and Engineering, and participating in NPI, capital equipment bring-up, and IQ/OQ activities

Qualifications

• Ability to read schematics and interpret equipment manuals is highly desirable.
• A sound understanding of automation equipment is required.
• Demonstrated ability to perform detail-oriented work with a high degree of accuracy.
• Must be able to follow established policies and procedures.
• Computer skills are required, proficiency using Word and Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose equipment problems.
• Strong electrical and/or mechanical skills is required.
• Team player who is self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Self-motivated and ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain production equipment while minimizing equipment down time. Escalate issues as needed to engineering team and production management.
• Perform PMs per procedures and maintain records.
• Support engineers on technical and process related issues.
• Conduct experiments and investigations under the guidance of engineers.
• Manage spare parts inventory including reordering of materials and technical components.
• Provide training to MFG personnel on operation of equipment and related procedures.
• Work closely with Production and Engineering to monitor equipment status and performance
• Address problems using the appropriate troubleshooting and repair techniques
• Document all repairs and the appropriate adjustments made
• Assist with equipment Installation and Operational Qualification (IQ & OQ).
