Job summary

Becton, Dickinson, and Company (BD) is seeking a Manufacturing Operator for our on-site Connecticut facility. You will operate marking, assembly and packaging equipment, ensure product quality, and maintain GMP-compliant documentation in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 1-2 years of manufacturing experience and a High School Diploma or GED. The job typically involves 7AM–7PM shifts with potential overtime and adherence to BD safety policies.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing machinery (mark, assemble and package) and maintain productivity.
• Monitor product quality and equipment performance continuously.
• Make authorized adjustments to equipment to maintain process quality.
• Complete quality documentation and participate in quality reviews.
• Collaborate with mechanical technicians and cell leads to meet production targets.
• Perform or assist with product or equipment changeovers.
• Assist line technicians with repairs, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Keep work area and machinery clean and compliant with GMP requirements.
• Record data accurately for PPH, scrap/waste, SAP and MES transactions.
• Identify issues and report to the Cell Lead; participate in CI activities.
