Job summary

Zimmer Biomet is seeking a skilled technician in the Austin area to repair and troubleshoot medical electro-mechanical products. You will diagnose malfunctions, perform tests, and document repairs while communicating with customers by phone and in letters.

The role requires 2+ years of hands-on electronics troubleshooting, use of multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies, with adherence to GMP/FDA regulations. Up to 10% travel and a competitive total rewards package are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years troubleshooting using basic electronic test equipment, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose malfunctions and perform tests to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
• Troubleshoot and replace faulty materials and components.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment to repair manufacturing machines and medical devices.
• Learn and document repairs in approved systems and write customer repair letters.
• Communicate repair details and provide basic technical support to customers.
