Qualifications

• HSD or equivalent (high school diploma or equivalently) and 2+ years of troubleshooting experience with basic electronic test equipment.
• Detail oriented with the ability to read and follow detailed procedures.
• Proven ability to meet workmanship standards with soldering, hand tools and testing equipment.
• Ability to document test results and maintain device history files.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose malfunctions, perform tests, and follow technical manuals to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
• Troubleshoot and replace faulty materials.
• Repair manufacturing machines and Medical Devices using hand tools and testing equipment.
• Learn software used to document customer repairs and maintain device history files.
• Communicate repairs in customer letters and provide basic technical support by phone.
