Job summary

Cretex Medical is hiring an Engineering Technician to support high-volume medical device manufacturing. You will work with Manufacturing Engineers to assemble prototypes, run tests, document results, and help develop tooling and fixtures. The role requires strong CAD skills, attention to detail, and good communication.

You’ll collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure compliance with ISO and quality systems. Prior experience in medical devices and GMP is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as an engineering technician
• Medical product experience
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Familiar with CAD tools and drafting standards
• Ability to cross-train in production areas

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for technical support escalation for operations
• Provide assembly process feedback to the engineering team
• Monitor, inspect, setup, calibrate, and maintain manufacturing equipment
• Research and identify manufacturing or engineering solutions
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues across processes
• Assist engineers with creating, modifying, and testing products and processes
• Inspect products and processes and identify improvements
• Conduct tests and collect data for validation activities
• Read and follow work instructions and set up sheets
• Enter production information into ERP systems
• Generate ECO/DCO and process documentation updates
• Perform equipment set-ups as required
• Support quality systems and regulatory requirements
