Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Technician in Portland, OR to join a leading medical device manufacturing team. The role focuses on assembling, testing, and inspecting components for devices such as pacemakers and ICD leads, in a clean, regulated environment.

You’ll work on 1st–4th shifts with pay of $20 per hour, enjoy a 4-day work week, and be part of a quality-driven, Lean manufacturing culture that emphasizes safety and traceability.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to handle small parts and components.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to make sound decisions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, repair, test, and inspect medical device components and finished products.
• Follow detailed manufacturing procedures and work instructions.
• Maintain accurate production, quality, and traceability documentation.
• Operate within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• Utilize electronic data collection systems and production software.
• Support continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other departments.
• Adhere to GMP, safety, quality and regulatory standards.
• Assist in meeting production goals while maintaining product quality standards.
