Job summary

Abbott Laboratories is recruiting for an Operator I in Portland, OR for a 1-year onsite contract. The role focuses on producing high-quality cardiovascular medical devices within a manufacturing cell, following documented procedures for assembly and operation of equipment.

Responsibilities include various assembly tasks (electronic, casting/coating, mechanical) and packaging, plus cleaning tools and disposing of hazardous waste per procedures. A strong attendance history is required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of RECENT medical device assembly experience is a must!
• Good longevity is a MUST! Job hoppers will be rejected. No less than 2 years per employer if at all possible.
• If no medical device, the assembly experience must be really strong. MUST be well-versed in building and putting things together, not just operating machines or doing warehouse work.
• High school diploma

Work Hours: 1st shift 4 AM - 2:30 PM Monday to Thursday (4x10 schedule)
