Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Production Operator to join our assembly teams and support the manufacture of medical device products. You will work with semi-automated systems, perform changeovers, inspect parts, and document results in compliance with quality procedures.

You will be part of a team, maintain clean work areas, and follow EH&S policies while training others on basic and more advanced operations. This role requires attention to detail and steady hands.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; 0–6 months related experience or training.
  • Must be able to read and write in English fluently.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
  • Reasoning ability and basic problem solving.
  • Ability to use measuring tools (ruler, caliper, micrometer) and record data.
  • Ability to perform precise measurements to the 4th decimal place.

Responsibilities

  • Read work orders and follow production drawings or verbal instructions.
  • Perform manufacturing procedures after training.
  • Complete essential documentation (DMR, LHR, inspection records).
  • Position and align parts in jig or fixture.
  • Crimp, weld, solder, or assemble parts as required.
  • Perform intermediate tasks such as bonding, testing, and measurement.
  • Inspect in-process parts to quality standards.
  • Train others on basic and advanced operations.
