Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC seeks an Operator II in Scarborough, Maine, to support cardiovascular medical device production on a manufacturing cell. You will handle assembly and operation of equipment per procedures in a controlled environment.

The role requires reading and following English procedures, basic math, and good dexterity. Overtime at time-and-a-half applies for hours over 40; 9+ months contract and nonexempt status apply.

Qualifications

• Must read, comprehend and follow English written procedures.
• Must have good basic math skills.
• Must be able to speak, follow verbal instructions and communicate effectively in English.
• Possesses understanding of and ability to utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software packages.
• Must have good dexterity to handle and maneuver small components and parts.
• Ability to prioritize work by sequencing and timing of different jobs based on precedence.
• Ability to make critical decisions with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma required
• 2+ years of experience

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality cardiovascular medical devices on a manufacturing cell.
• Assemble and operate equipment per documented procedures.
• May include electronic assembly, casting/coating, mechanical assembly and packaging.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure traceability of parts and quality documentation.
• Perform visual inspection and precision measurements; run unit tests on equipment.
• Follow safety guidelines and use appropriate safety devices.
• Participate in continuous improvement/quality initiatives to enhance processes.
• Support supervisor/manager in monitoring cell performance metrics and cleanliness of the work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
