Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a manufacturing associate to build products by following defined processes to meet daily production goals. This onsite role requires attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.

You will collaborate with engineers on process modifications, set up and operate manufacturing equipment, inspect parts, and maintain accurate records. Strong reading comprehension of English instructions is essential, as is willingness to work overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience in manufacturing and/or assembly.
• Ability to use and adjust a microscope.
• Ability to work with small parts for an extended period of time.
• This position requires proficiency in communication and understanding of English, including reading work instructions to consistently build defect free medical products.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, repair, inspect and/or test products following instructions.
• Work with engineers on process modifications and suggest process improvement opportunities.
• Set up and operate a variety of manufacturing machines or equipment following written instructions in English.
• Clean tools and equipment per instructions.
• Record information on approved documents.
• Dispose hazardous waste material on corresponding hazardous waste areas.
• Resolve problems and make routine recommendations.
• Train other employees when necessary.
• Maintain all certifications required to remain in compliance.
• Work overtime as required.
• Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time as needed.
