Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Brisbane, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Assembler (Contractor) to perform electro-mechanical and optical assembly of medical devices, including PCBA programming, testing, and calibration. This role requires strong attention to detail and GMP-compliant documention.

This is a temporary 6-month contract with potential to convert to full-time. Shifts are Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm PT, with duties spanning troubleshooting, documentation, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of hands-on production assembly experience.
• Manual dexterity with electro-mechanical components; basic soldering skills.
• Basic math skills and ability to perform unit conversions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet timelines.
• Good organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team; sit for extended periods; lift up to 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Perform electro-mechanical and optical assembly, inspection, testing, and packaging of medical devices.
• Execute PCBA programming, system testing, and calibration per procedures.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and rework to address failures and nonconformances.
• Maintain production records and documentation in GMP environment.
• Measure and verify materials; ensure quality and accuracy.
• Follow safety policies and SOPs; report issues to supervisors or engineering.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Support maintenance and calibration activities; monitor equipment.
• Interpret drawings and work instructions; work with certified processes.
• Train and support other team members on procedures.
