Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Manufacturing Assembler in Brisbane, CA for a 6-month contractor role. Responsibilities include electro-mechanical and optical assembly, PCBA programming, testing, calibration, and documentation, in a regulated medical-device environment.

The ideal candidate brings attention to detail, hands-on manufacturing experience, and comfort with GMP procedures. The shift is Mon-Fri 6:00am–2:30pm PT, with potential to convert to full-time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 1–3 years hands-on experience in production assembly or similar manufacturing.
• Manual dexterity with electro-mechanical components; basic soldering.
• Basic math and unit conversions (metric and standard).
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical and optical components per procedures.
• Program PCBA, test, and calibrate medical devices.
• Troubleshoot and rework to address failures.
• Record production data accurately and maintain docs.
• Inspect, measure, count materials; ensure quality.
• Follow GMP, safety policies, and SOPs.
• Report issues to supervisors or engineering teams.
• Operate ERP and review drawings/BOMs.
• Support maintenance and calibration activities.
• Train teammates on certified processes.
