SMS Staffing Inc is Hiring Immediately for skilled Medical Device Assemblers!

Job Title: Medical Device Assembler

Job Location: Plymouth, MN, U.S.A. 55442

Job Type: Contract (possible extension or convert to hire)

Pay: $18.75 - $19.25 depending on shift

Shift Structure: ONSITE, Monday to Thursday, 40 hours per week

  • 1st shift: 10.5 hour shifts with start times between 4:30am-5:15am
  • 2nd shift: 10.5 hour shifts with start times between 3:30pm-4:00pm
The role of the Medical Device Assembler:
  • Produces high-quality medical devices and related accessories using applicable tools
  • Reviews all documentation for completeness and accuracy
  • Maintains organization, inventory levels, and cleanliness of the device packaging area
  • Performs assembly, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators, and/or digital/analog circuitry
  • Follows safety guidelines and utilizes appropriate safety devices during all operations
  • Utilizes microscopes to complete assembly inspections
About the Medical Device Assembler:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • The ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to handle small components with manual dexterity and good hand/eye coordination
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in medical assembly, cleanroom, assembly line, or manufacturing is preferred but not required
