Job summary

Medical Devices Company in El Paso, TX is seeking an entry-level General Assembler for a 12-month contract on W2. The role runs 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, with orientation at 7:30 AM on day one. Expect 40 hours/week and pay between $16-20/hour.

Primary tasks include fabrication, assembly, testing and packaging of medical devices, plus equipment setup and troubleshooting. Qualifications include a high school diploma, 0–1 year manufacturing experience, basic English reading/writing, and ability to read

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–1 year of manufacturing assembly experience.
• Effective communication skills understood by coworkers and supervisor.
• Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend specifications in English and perform basic math.
• Ability to use basic measurement tools such as microscopes.
• Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report regularly on time.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks involved in fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing and packaging of medical devices; sets up, operates, maintains and troubleshoots equipment.
• May conduct quality inspections on processing line per quality specifications.
• Works within clearly defined SOPs and adheres to quality guidelines.
