Job summary

Medical Devices Company is seeking an entry-level General Assembler in El Paso, TX for the 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM shift. The role involves fabricating, assembling, testing and packaging medical devices, with setup, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment. Orientation on first day at 7:30 AM.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and 0–1 year in manufacturing assembly. Ability to read English specs and perform basic math is required; microscopes and measurement tools are used

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–1 year of manufacturing assembly experience.
• Effective communication skills understood by coworkers and supervisors.
• Ability to read, write, interpret and understand English specifications and perform basic math.
• Ability to use basic measurement tools, such as microscopes.
• Must be able to work flexible or extended hours and report on time.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to rotate into different tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks in fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing and packaging of medical devices; sets up, operates, maintains and troubleshoots equipment.
• May conduct quality inspections on the processing line per quality specifications.
• Works within clearly defined SOPs and adheres to quality guidelines.
