Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Danvers, MA is seeking a Cleanroom Medical Device Assembler to assemble, inspect and test high-quality medical devices in a controlled manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include following procedures, using microscopes and hand tools, maintaining records, and ensuring cleanroom integrity. Requirements: high school diploma, microscope experience, ability to read/write English, and willingness to work 1st or 2nd shift.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least one year of intensive microscope-based experience in a medical device environment.
  • Must have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to work with small components in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to utilize basic math skills.
  • Execute tasks in a timely manner under general supervision.
  • Computer literacy required, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite desired.
  • Willing to work either 1st shift (7-3pm) or 2nd shift (3:30p-11:30pm).

  • Fully understand and maintain accurate records/documentation related to quality, work in progress, test results, labor, and special projects.
  • Apply workstation practices and line clearance in daily activities.
  • Adhere to general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies and procedures, QSR, and FDA regulations.

We are searching for the best talent for Medical Device Assembler.

The Cleanroom Medical Device Assembler will be responsible for assembling, inspecting and testing high quality medical devices while working within a controlled manufacturing system.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Job Qualifications

  • Must have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to work with small plastic and metal components in a high-volume manufacturing setting
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to utilize basic math skills
  • Execute tasks in a timely manner under general supervision.
  • Computer literacy required, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite desired
  • Willing to work either 1st shift (7-3pm) or 2nd shift (3:30p-11:30pm)

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$45,100.00 - $73,370.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

  • Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
  • Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
  • Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
  • Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
