MedSpeed in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver to join our healthcare logistics team. The role involves driving a company vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals and related materials, while ensuring safety and compliance.

You will use a handheld scanner, perform pre/post-trip checks, and interact professionally with clients. Duties include loading/unloading, route planning, and maintaining a clean vehicle; flexible routes

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures closely.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen.
• Drive a non-commercial vehicle throughout the shift on various roads and in varying weather conditions.
• Must have an active chauffeur's license or be willing to obtain one.
• Must have an excellent driving history.
• Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination depending on location and local mandates.
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely driving and transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x‑rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail and related materials.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat vehicle.
• Route duties vary based on client needs and may span multiple routes.
• Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration with teammates and clients.
• Support a collaborative MedSpeed team culture.
