Job summary

MedSpeed in Austin, TX is seeking a Medical Driver to join our logistics team. The role involves safely transporting lab specimens, medical records, and supplies in a company vehicle, with a stable 10:00am–6:30pm schedule and a Monday–Friday workweek, paid at $18.00 per hour.

You’ll operate a handheld scanner, follow procedures, present a professional image, assist with loading/unloading, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and collaborate with a nationwide team to ensure timely deliveries across

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Excellent driving history and ability to pass drug and alcohol screening.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and walk long distances.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive in a company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens and medical materials.
• Operate a handheld scanner to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Observe operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload items with appropriate equipment.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Route duties may vary and require adaptability to client needs.
• Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration with teammates and clients.
• Build and nurture a collaborative MedSpeed team culture.
