Job summary

MedSpeed is seeking a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Temple, TX. This full-time, hourly role requires open availability and weekend work with a $17.00/hr base, plus a $1 differential after 10pm and on weekends.

You will drive a company vehicle, transport specimens and medical supplies, and ensure safety and customer service at all times. Applicants must be 19+, hold a valid driver’s license for 3+ years, be able to lift 50 lbs, pass drug tests, and adapt to varying routes and

Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen.
Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to adapt to varying routes and schedules.

Responsibilities

Drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals and supplies in a company vehicle.
Operate a hand-held scanner to track items through the transportation cycle.
Observe operating policies, procedures, and service schedules.
Present a professional image to clients and the public through appearance and interaction.
Load and unload vehicles and conduct pre/post-trip inspections.
