MedSpeed is hiring a Medical Delivery Driver/Logistics Service Representative in Meridian, ID. The role focuses on safely transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related materials in a company-owned vehicle.

You will use a handheld scanner, follow all policies, and present a professional image to clients. Comfortable driving in varying weather and lifting up to 50 pounds is required; the position supports flexible, fixed schedules and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures closely.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen.
• Drive a non-commercial vehicle throughout the shift on various roads and in varying weather conditions.
• Must have an excellent driving history.
• Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination depending on location and local mandates.
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Handle varying item weights and physical demands.
• Must be able to lift items off storage racks.
• Comfortable walking long distances and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Safely driving and transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail and related materials.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Strictly observe operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat vehicle.
• Perform duties across all routes as assigned and adapt to changing routes.
• Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration with teammates and clients.
• Build and nurture a collaborative MedSpeed team culture.
