MedSpeed is seeking a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Tempe, AZ. This part-time position pays $17/hr with Thursday–Friday 6:00am–1:45pm and Sat–Sun 1:30pm–7:30pm shifts, handling transportation of specimens, records, and supplies in a company vehicle.

You will operate a hand-held scanner, adhere to schedules and safety policies, present a professional image to clients, and work as part of a collaborative team to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Customer service focus and clear communication.
• Must have a valid driver's license with 3+ years driving experience.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Comfortable with technology and scanning devices.
• Ability to follow procedures and safety policies.
• Strong routing and time-management skills.
• Must pass initial and random drug and alcohol screens.
• Commitment to safe driving and professional conduct.
• Good physical stamina including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work varying shifts and routes as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, and supplies.
• Operate a hand-held scanner to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Follow operating policies, procedures, and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload items using appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe driving behavior at all times.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Adapt to varying routes and client needs; support teamwork.
• Foster a collaborative MedSpeed culture and communicate with teammates.
