Job summary

MedSpeed, a healthcare logistics company, is seeking a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Columbus, OH. You will drive a company vehicle, transport lab specimens and supplies, and maintain safety standards.

Flexible start times between 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM, with typical 8:30 AM starts, and end times between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Scheduling is provided two weeks in advance and routes vary by client needs. Our team emphasizes safety, reliability, and collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are required.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens.
• Must regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely driving and transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail and related materials.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Load and unload items and maintain a clean, organized vehicle.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior and professionalism with clients.
