MedSpeed is a healthcare logistics company seeking a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver for the Silver Spring area. The role involves driving a company vehicle to transport lab specimens, records, and medical supplies across the DMV region, with a fixed day schedule and potential slight start/end time adjustments.

Candidates should have a clean driving history, be comfortable with technology, and be able to pass a background and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• COVID-19 vaccination may be required depending on location.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen.
• Proven dependability and reliability.
• Willingness to work a daytime schedule with potential +/- hour adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, and hospital supplies in a company vehicle.
• Operate a hand-held scanner to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Observe all policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload items as required and conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections.
