MedSpeed is hiring a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Halethorpe, MD. The role is part-time, $16.00/hr, with shifts Monday, Thursday and Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

You will drive a company vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, and supplies across Maryland and perform daily scanning and route duties. The position requires a valid driver’s license (3+ years), dependable work ethic, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology
• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures closely
• Must have an excellent driving history
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination depending on location and local mandates
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Drive a company-owned vehicle and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, and supplies
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items
• Follow operating policies, procedures and service schedules
• Present a professional image to clients and the public
• Load and unload vehicles safely
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness
