Job summary

McLeod Health is seeking a Courier Services Manager to lead a team of Medical Courier Drivers on scheduled routes or on-demand deliveries of packages, supplies, and specimens. You will ensure outstanding in-person service to internal and external customers and oversee the courier budget.

Responsibilities include route audits, statistics, scheduling, device/app management for track and trace, and annual reviews to maximize efficiency.

Lead a team of Medical Courier Drivers on scheduled route or on-demand activity for pick-up and delivery of packages including supplies and specimens.
Manage the outstanding, in person customer service to internal and external customers.
Manages budget for Courier Services.
Perform route audits, maintain statistics, manage employee work schedule and timesheets.
Manage the use of smart phones and applications for track and trace, worktime, and mileage.
Reviews courier routes/schedules annually to maximize efficiencies.
Monitors routine maintenance needs of company vehicles.
Manage workforce supplies, equipment, and compliance.
Provides continuity in quality of courier services.
Provides education and training for courier staff.
Communicates effectively with staff about policies and policy changes.
Display a high degree of motivation in accomplishment of courier goals, assurance of accuracy of work performed in all areas of responsibility.
Other duties as assigned.
