Job summary

Quest Diagnostics seeks a Medical Courier in Orlando, FL, Monday to Friday, 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM. You’ll deliver specimens and lab materials, ensuring timely, accurate transport and professional communication with healthcare staff.

You’ll operate a non-CDL company vehicle, use route apps, and maintain proper documentation. The role emphasizes reliability, safety, and patient care as you represent our diagnostic services.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with 3 years driving experience and clean MVR (no violations in last 36 months).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with reliable documentation.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems on the road.
• Comfortable using mobile devices or scanning tools.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs and stay mobile during shift.
• Prior medical, courier, or logistics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and deliver medical specimens and lab materials on a scheduled route.
• Communicate professionally with doctors, nurses, and lab staff to ensure timely deliveries.
• Safely operate a company-provided vehicle (non-CDL).
• Use handheld scanners, route software, and mobile apps to track deliveries.
• Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, storage, and documentation.
• Comply with DOT, HIPAA, OSHA, and internal safety standards.
