Job summary

Renown Health is seeking a dedicated transporter to sort, pick up, and deliver laboratory specimens and related items within the health system and community practices. The role requires building rapport with office staff and delivering excellent customer service.

You will handle routing, communicate changes, and ensure safe vehicle operation under state laws; a valid Nevada driver's license is required. This position does not involve patient care.

Qualifications

• Education: read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform job duties safely and effectively.
• Experience: Customer Service experience preferred.
• License: Valid State of Nevada Driver's license and to pass Renown Health's DMV criteria.
• Computer/Typing: Proficient with MS Office including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and Word.

Responsibilities

• Sort, pick up and transport laboratory specimens and patient items within Renown Health System and community offices.
• Enter provider practices while building rapport with office personnel.
• Deliver very good customer service and escalate issues to leadership as needed.
• Operate a motor vehicle; comply with all traffic laws and safety requirements.
