Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a driver/courier to load daily pickups, transport medical specimens and reports, and deliver to the branch, ensuring safe handling and on-time service.

The position runs Monday–Friday 11am–7:30pm with rotating weekends. A valid driver’s license, clean record, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strong time management are required. A company vehicle is provided, with optional home use for personal driving.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year or more of driver or courier experience.
• 1 year or more of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Load all necessary suppliers needed for the daily pickups.
• Complete daily pick up schedule in a timely manner.
• Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift.
• Handle all specimens and lab samples in a safe and efficient manner.
• Safely operate a company vehicle and obey all traffic laws.
• Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily picks up.
• Work directly with the dispatcher for additional pick-ups as needed.
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as needed.
