Job summary

Aculabs Inc. is seeking a Medical Courier Driver to safely transport laboratory specimens—blood, urine, stool, and other samples—from care facilities, field offices, or employees. You will maintain specimen integrity and follow transport protocols to ensure timely delivery.

Responsibilities include picking up specimens, timely arrivals, secure transit, and communication with accessioning staff. Valid license, insured vehicle, and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle; must be an insured driver.
• Clean driving record and safe driving history.

Responsibilities

• Picks up blood and other specimens in designated facilities and delivers them to the respective location.
• Arrives at the facility at the designated time(s).
• Safely and efficiently transport laboratory specimens to designated locations ensuring the specimens remain secure and undamaged during transit.
• Transfers the bags from the refrigerator at the ECF to a cooler and delivers it to the laboratory as quickly as possible.
• Strictly adhere to all driving laws, traffic regulations, and safety protocols while operating company vehicles.
• Informs accessioning personnel when blood has been delivered.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Weekend Rotation as needed
