Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Medical Courier – Advanced to join our Fayetteville, AR team. The role involves delivering medical specimens and lab materials, communicating with clinical staff, and safely operating a non-CDL vehicle on a dynamic schedule.

You will use handheld scanners and route software to track deliveries and must meet DOT/HIPAA/OSHA standards. Competitive hourly pay, benefits from day one, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s license with minimum 3 years driving experience and MVR with no more than two moving violations in 36 months, none in last 12 months.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the road.
• Comfortable using mobile devices or scanning tools.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and be on the move for much of shift.
• Prior medical, customer service, courier, or logistics experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and deliver medical specimens and lab materials.
• Communicate professionally with doctors, nurses, and lab staff to ensure timely deliveries.
• Safely operate a company-provided vehicle (non-CDL).
• Use handheld scanners, route software, and mobile apps to track deliveries.
• Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, storage, and documentation.
• Comply with all DOT, HIPAA, OSHA, and internal safety standards.
• Work a dynamic schedule: cover routes on multiple shifts and weekends.
• May complete special assignments such as training, pack out, air; may work with special projects and clients, and assist with Group Lead duties.
• Cover routes and functions deemed necessary, including covering multiple shifts and providing emergency coverage.

Pay range: $19.50+ per hour

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and be on the move for much of your shift
• Prior medical, customer service, courier, or logistics experience is strongly preferred
