Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Courier to support daily specimen pickups and deliveries in the Itasca, IL area. The role operates 4x10s with a Monday through Friday schedule and occasional weekend work as required. You will load suppliers, manage routes, and ensure safe handling of lab samples throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the dispatcher for additional pick‑ups as needed
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as needed

Courier

Work Schedule: 4x10's – Monday‑Friday 8:30am‑6:30pm (one day off during the week), occasional weekends as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• No education or experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
• 1 year or more of driver or courier experience
• 1 year or more of customer service experience

Additional Job Standards

• Very punctual with strong time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to problem solve customer issues
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Be at least 21 years old

Pay Range and Benefits

Pay Range: $17.75 - $20.00 per hour.

Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Short‑Term and Long‑Term Disability, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled for fewer than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary staff are eligible only for the 401(k) Plan. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible for all benefits except PTO or FTO.
