Job summary

Labcorp is hiring a Courier in Itasca, IL for a Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm schedule with rotating weekends. You will load supplies, complete daily pickup schedules, and deliver specimens to the branch at shift end.

Responsibilities include handling specimens safely, operating a company vehicle, communicating with the dispatcher, and using handheld devices to manage pickups. Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and driving 1 year or more experience; strong time management

Qualifications

• No formal education requirement.
• 1 year or more of driver or courier experience preferred.
• 1 year or more of customer service experience preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

Additional Job Standards

• Very punctual with strong time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to problem solve customer issues
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Be at least 21 years old

Pay & Benefits

Pay Range: $17.75 - $20.00 per hour. Eligible for 2nd shift differential.

Company vehicle provided. Option to use for personal use for $125 per month.

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.

Employees scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
