Job summary

Precision Medicine Group is seeking a Medical Writer to develop and write content for assigned accounts, collaborating with internal teams to ensure client vision is achieved and content is accurate. The role includes creating resources such as flashcards, leave-behinds, and internal training materials.

The ideal candidate has a life sciences or English background, at least one year in medical writing, and familiarity with AMA style, Word, PowerPoint, and PubMed.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in life sciences required.
• BA/BS in English with 2 years of experience in a pharmaceutical agency, medical communications company or healthcare advertising.
• Minimum 1 year of medical writing experience in a pharmaceutical agency, medical communications company or healthcare advertising.
• Knowledge of AMA style; proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Acrobat; familiarity with PubMed and Google Scholar.

Responsibilities

• Develop high quality, medically accurate content in print or digital format.
• Deliver projects per established timelines.
• Conduct literature reviews and annotations to support promotional claims.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy.
• Attend reviews and client meetings and participate in team discussions.
• Promote Precision values and maintain high scientific standards.
