Job summary

Responsibilities include maintaining physician coding logs, inputting charges from coded tickets, data entry, retrieving dictation reports, and ensuring month-end records are complete.

The role requires good communication, basic Microsoft Office skills, and attention to detail in a fast-paced office.

Qualifications

• One year medical data entry experience required.
• One year of medical billing office experience preferred.
• Completion of a basic medical terminology course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain physician and surgery coding logs and ensure timely data entry.
• Enter charges and demographic information for physician providers.
• Coordinate completion of information and coding for all patients.
• Identify and report charge entry issues to management.
• Maintain professional relationships with staff, payors and clients.
• Ensure month-end records are complete and accurate.
