Job summary

Qualifications
Must have a coding credential (RHIA, RHIT, CPC, CCS, RN).
Minimum of 2 years hospital and/or physician practice coding experience or completion of the one-year Revenue Integrity Internship Program.
Responsibilities
Responsible for coding procedures and entering charges per regulations.
Coordinate with Practice Coordinator and Revenue Integrity to ensure documentation supports procedure codes.
Participates in audits to evaluate accuracy of selected codes and develops methodologies for improvement.
