Qualifications

• Three (3) years of extensive diagnosis and procedural coding experience required.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes documentation to obtain ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes.
• Abstracts and codes procedures with provider collaboration.
• Assists Billing Department with timely billing and rebilling.
• Reviews encounters for accurate documentation and coding.
• Liaises with physicians for clarification and necessity.
