SGMC Health is seeking a Professional Coding Auditor/Education Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle Medical Group on-site at SGMC Health Main Campus. The role focuses on auditing professional coding, educating providers, and improving documentation to support compliant billing.

The ideal candidate will hold a CPC certification, prefer CPMA or CDEO, and have extensive ICD-10, HCPCS, and CPT knowledge, with strong analytical and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) is required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts detailed medical coding audits and identifies trends and discrepancies.
• Educates healthcare providers on documentation issues and coding requirements.
• Develops training materials and leads improvement projects.
• Prepares comprehensive audit reports and collaborates with revenue cycle teams.
