Job summary

Premier Medical Group is seeking a Coding Specialist to join the CBO Team. You will audit physician coding, provide coding guidance, and review charts to improve inpatient and outpatient coding accuracy.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of coding/auditing experience in healthcare, with HS diploma or GED and CPC preferred. Office-based role with focus on compliance, documentation, and collaboration within the Central Billing Office.

Qualifications

• Payer policies, CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, compliance guidelines.
• Proper documentation and reporting guidelines for CPT/ICD-10/HCPCS.
• 1–2 years coding/auditing experience; healthcare setting desirable.

Responsibilities

• Code inpatient and outpatient claims and audits.
• Review charts and provide coding recommendations.
• Support Central Billing Department and CBO team with audits.
• Address denial trends and provide feedback to leadership.
• Ensure documentation aligns with coding requirements.
