Dignity Health Medical Group is seeking a detail-oriented Coder to translate patient records into ICD, E/M, CPT, and HCPCS codes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and payer guidelines. You will communicate with providers to clarify documentation and support accurate claims processing.

As a Coder, you will review codes, query as needed, and may educate physicians and staff on coding practices, contributing to efficient revenue cycle and compliant documentation across our Phoenix

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One year of professional fee coding experience is required.
• CPC-HA, CPC, CPCA or CBCS certification is required or preferred.

Responsabilités

• Translates patients' medical records into standardized codes for diagnoses and procedures.
• Ensure coding accuracy for ICD, E/M, CPT, and HCPCS.
• Query providers when documentation is unclear or missing.
• Educate physicians and providers on coding and documentation as needed.
• Assist clinic and department staff with coding questions for assigned providers.
