Job summary

Amazon One Medical Senior Health is seeking a Medical Coder I to support the Revenue Cycle team in reviewing coding accuracy for professional claims. The role requires proficiency in CPT/ICD-10-CM coding, chart reviews, and adherence to industry guidelines.

The position reports to the Manager I, Finance and offers growth within Amazon Health Services. Responsibilities include handling multiple coding projects, staying updated with coding guidance, and collaborating with the Medicare Risk

Qualifications

• Experience in performing accurate and complete chart reviews for profee coding.
• Experience in profee auditing, coding, and documentation requirements.
• Certification: AAPC/CCS CPC or AHIMA CCS.
• 2+ years of medical profee coding experience.

Responsibilities

• Assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and other codes to visits, procedures, and diagnoses in production environment.
• Review and complete email requests in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the Medicare Risk Operations team to ensure positive program outcomes.
• Stay current on CPT, ICD-10-CM coding guidelines and CMS guidance.
