Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Coder for Greenville, SC. The contract-to-hire role requires CPC certification and 1–3 years of coding experience to review and correct CPT/ICD-10 codes and resolve claim edits.

You will support revenue cycle by analyzing payer discrepancies, answering coding questions, and guiding providers and staff on coding decisions. Onsite schedule with regular training and interviews.

Qualifications

• CPC certification required.
• 1–3 years of professional medical coding experience.
• Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, NCCI, LCD, and NCD guidelines.
• Experience with claim edits, reimbursement analysis, and coding compliance.
• Experience with eClinicalWorks preferred (Epic experience is a plus).

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Coder to review and correct provider-assigned coding, resolve claim edits, and support revenue cycle operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate CPT, ICD-10, and coding compliance while serving as a coding resource for providers and internal teams.

Location: Greenville, SC (Onsite)

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire

Schedule: Monday–Friday (Flexible Day Shift)

Pay Rate: $23 - $27 / Hour

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, correct, and recode provider-assigned CPT and ICD-10 codes.

• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
• 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (1-hour lunch)

Additional Information

• Location: Greenville, SC (Onsite)
• Type: Contract-to-Hire
• Training: Two-week onsite training (may extend based on individual needs)
• Target Start Date: August 17
• One onsite interview required.
