Our client is looking to hire experienced HCC Coders to join their team remotely!

Salary: $22/hr Job Type: Full-time Experience Level: 2+ years of medical coding experience (HCC preferred) Qualifications: CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CRC (NO CPCAs, RHIT, RHIA

Work type: Contract (on-going)

Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm CS

T.Work Location: Remote (Can sit anywhere in the continental US)

Job Responsibilities:

• As a Medical Coder you will work remotely to accurately determine ICD-10 Codes for diagnoses for outpatient and inpatient records for risk adjustment
• Ensure that all Coding assignments are accurate according to coding policies and based on the documentation provided in the Medical record
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of client-specific coding guidelines
• Review and maintain records of coded, held, and missing charts

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of medical coding experience (HCC preferred)
• Valid coding credential (CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CRC)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Required Strong understanding of medical terminology and technology
• Experience in physician and facility coding for observation and inpatient services
