What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assign appropriate diagnostic and procedural codes to patient health information documents
- Research and resolve general coding issues, communicating with cross-divisional teams as necessary
- Administer physician quality reporting initiative (PQRI) data to enhance quality measures and maximize incentive payments
- Generate and distribute reports for management review on a routine basis
- Collaborate with cross-divisional teams to achieve shared goals within established timelines
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma required
- AAPC or AHIMA Certification
- 1-2 years of related experience
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and email applications
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
