Job summary

Insight Global is seeking experienced HCC Risk Adjustment Medical Coders for a high-volume, remote seasonal project supporting Medicare initiatives. Coders will review and code records with a target of 2 charts per hour.

Candidates must have Medicare HCC experience, at least 18 months in risk adjustment coding, and certifications such as CCS, CPC, or CRC. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA/DCFSA and 401k; paid time off.

Qualifications

• Medicare HCC experience required.
• 18 months experience as a risk adjustment coder required.
• CCS (AHIMA) or CPC (AAPC) or CRC (AAPC) certification required.

Job Title: Remote Risk Adjustment Medical Coder

Work Location: Remote

Pay: $20-$21/hour

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Insight Global is seeking experienced HCC Risk Adjustment Medical Coders for a high-volume seasonal project supporting Medicare risk adjustment initiatives. Responsible for coding 2 Charts per hour.

• Perform accurate HCC risk adjustment coding for Medicare populations
• Review and code medical records in accordance with ICD and risk adjustment guidelines (2 charts per hour)
• Meet established quality standards and productivity metrics

Must Haves:

• -Medicare HCC experience is required
• -18 months experience as a risk adjustment coder REQUIRED!
• -CCS certified (AHIMA) or CPC certified (AAPC) or CRC certified (AAPC)

Work Load:

• 2 charts per hour, average of 74 pages per chart
