HCA Healthcare—in partnership with Surgery Ventures—seeks a Medical Coder local to the Greater Salt Lake City, UT area. You will review medical record documentation and apply ICD-10-CM, E/M, HCPCS/CPT codes for outpatient surgery center records, coding 80–150 charts daily, and resolving ambiguous codes using the query tool.
Expect a 90-day on-site training period. RHIT/RHIA degree preferred with 2+ years outpatient coding or HIM experience; you'll support accreditation prep and ensure encoder
Candidates must be local to the Greater Salt Laky City, UT area in order to be considered for this position - 90 day on-site training period is required
As a Medical Coder, you will contribute to the company’s mission and vision by reviewing medical record documentation. You will apply appropriate coding based upon the diagnosis and procedure guidelines for code selections that adhere to HCA-ASD Coding Compliance Policies and Procedures.
